Let's Do it Live!

Here in NYC, no time of year is better for open-air live music than the heart of summer. Fortunately, the Sixpoint crew loves live music, warm weather, and of course, delicious beers.

We recently rocked the Walkbout Festival with 21 bands over 2 days, and the crowd handled the heat with some of our core favorites: The Crisp, Bengali Tiger, Sweet Action and Righteous Ale.

We put the bravest beer fans to the test with our 6th Sense Challenge, a taste test to see who could correctly distinguish which beer was which! For those who could correctly identify the beers, their names were mixed together and a winner chosen at random to be treated to a special beer experience, courtesy of Sixpoint.

This weekend, we are pouring on the Sixpoint with two more open air music events: The Bushwick Block Party and Catalpa NYC.

Things kick off at noon on Saturday with the Bushwick Block Party, presented by Roberta’s in Bushwick. Packed with two stages of continuous music and some great food vendors, (not to mention Roberta’s legendary pizza) – this block party is primed to “go to eleven” – but it actually goes till midnight! We hope to see you there.

Starting Saturday afternoon, fans can also enjoy Sixpoints under the sun on Randall’s Island – for two full days. Catalpa NYC’s lineup reads like a who’s who of some of the trillest Hip Hop, Rock and Electronic Music acts around - and some stars from Sixpoint lineup will also be flowing!

Added Bonus: those who missed the first installment of the 6th Sense Challenge can redeem themselves – we will be offering Catalpa concertgoers a chance to show us who really knows their Sixpoint. Are you up to the challenge?
