Philly Beer Week Continues!

Philly Beer Week is in full swing, and while a bunch of awesome Sixpoint events have gone down, this weekend promises even more festivities.

Philly Beer Week

We’ve unleashed all our regulars, a few kegs of the rare oyster stout, as well as multiple Spice of Life offerings. There was a Signal sighting, when we tapped a keg of our smoked IPA, and we even busted out some dry-hopped firkins, for loads of cask ale pints. We’ve gotten down with some nice grub, teaming up with PYT to create the Sweet Action burger, and collaborating with prominent Philly chef David Katz to create a four-course Sixpoint feast. There have been brunches in the beer garden and a constant flow of sweet nectar to wash down Sixpoint-inspired dishes, like Apollo-braised wild boar belly hash. Then on Wednesday we unleashed a Sixteen Sixpoint tap takeover – it seems like the only beers we haven’t poured in Philly are The Incredible Mild and Old RedHooker, and that’s only because this year’s editions just came out!

There are still three more days of Mad Science ahead, so be sure to check out Sixpoint Representative Jersey Dan’s PBW tumblr for live-blogging and photos of the festivities, as well as for what’s coming up next.
