Beer for Beasts Wrap Up
Beer and Beast fans descended on Brooklyn’s The Bell House, amid tunes from Chances With Wolves and hilarious performances from comedians Myq Kaplan, Matt Ruby and Mark Normand. Attendees enjoyed a range of thirty-six beers, some twenty-seven of which were single batch, original brews made just for the festival. From sage and curry-infused beers to incredible hop-bombs, sour saisons to orange-chocolate stouts, the B4B brews were a unique, delicious and eye-opening breed.
For a break from the beers and bustle there were food trucks outside— a variety of tacos, veggie pies, curry dishes, flatbread pizza and ice cream sandwiches rounded out the scrumptious selections.
The Sixpoint crew and Humane Society had a great time connecting with fans of beasts and beer, sampling various brews and enjoying the vibes, all in the name of a good cause. The HSNY’s tireless dedication to our four-legged friends is the reason for B4B and their friendship and graciousness make the event a success for all involved.
Here’s to a third great year of collaboration with BeerAdvocate and the HSNY.
